Job Summary:
- The provision of software development expertise within internal or customer Application Development Teams specifically in relation to development initiatives relating to .NET technologies
- To support development initiatives and, to a limited degree, associated planning and resource management
- Participation in the Design, Coding, Testing, Defect Resolution and Deployment activities in support of a Jumar internal and customer projects
- Development of and adherence to Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Release, Technical and Service Standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Bring to bear development experience in the production of high quality, systematic technical products to meet both the demands for new or changed Application systems and services
- Ensuring all assigned development activities are performed to agreed quality, functionality and time objectives, escalating where appropriate to the Development Manager/Project Manager/Scrum Master if the activities are not going to meet the required objectives
- Prioritisation of own development workload according to priority and required project delivery dates
- To implement best-practise in support of external and internal project initiatives
- Able to work within both Waterfall and Agile approaches
- Participation in Sprint-based development initiatives and provision of support for all associated rituals
- Work with Jumar and customers to deliver business commitments
- Direct or indirect involvement in the development of policies, standards and guidelines that support the selection, development, implementation and use of Information Technology within the enterprise
- To maintain excellent customer relationships and ensure good communication
- To build excellent relationships with key Jumar and customer contacts
- To build excellent working relationships with chosen suppliers
- To work with chosen partners and suppliers to ensure optimum delivery methods
- Mentor and monitor the work of junior staff and contractors and support the internal appraisal process where appropriate
- Build employee knowledge and skills in specific areas of expertise
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience leading highly skilled team in delivering against business goals
- Experience in and knowledge of C# .NET, associated technologies, tooling and development approaches
- Technical IT experience in disciplines in support of a C# .NET development role
- Knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering … especially .NET related technologies
- Experience of Scrum-based approaches, Sprint planning and rituals
- Experience of Test-Driven development, continuous Integration and similar approaches
- A good understanding of the principles of software design, implementation and deployment
- Systems thinking – the ability to see how parts interact with the whole (“big picture”-thinking)
- An insight into some of the business verticals for Jumar customers for whom applications are being developed/enhanced
- Appreciation of project estimating, planning, monitoring and control
- Demonstrable experience in quality control of solution and application developments
- Knowledge of IT governance and operations
- Insight into Project planning and organizational skills
- Exposure to and an understanding of some of the following is highly desirable:

Job Summary:

- Design and build the next generation of mobile applications in support of a Jumar internal and customer projects
- Advancement of mobile technologies and approaches to deliver the next generation of application
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding applications to exceed client’s requirements
- Discuss the client’s requirements and the proposed solution
- Developing application programming interfaces (APIs) to support mobile functionality
- Using and adapting existing web applications for apps
- Working closely with colleagues to constantly innovate app functionality and design
- Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code
- Design interfaces to improve user experience
- Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols
- Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends

Job Summary:
- To identify leads and opportunities to secure new clients that are aligned to Jumar’s Ideal Client Profile that can consume the Technology lines of business
- To build effective and ongoing business relationships with Jumar’s Directors and Sales Account Managers in order to identify, nurture and close opportunities for our Solutions lines of business – from newly acquired customers
To build and maintain knowledge of the core challenges and opportunities within the Jumar vertical markets and where Jumar’s expanding capabilities can support those challenges and opportunities
Main Responsibilities:
- To generate, qualify and progress opportunities within new accounts. Working in close conjunction with the Sales and Marketing Director, Pre-Sales Director and Sales Account Managers to ensure all opportunities for the supply of Jumar’s Technology business
- To build a pipeline of opportunity from new accounts
- To ensure that all relationships within these new accounts are fully developed and maximised to deliver ongoing business and pipeline
- To become and be seen as a subject matter expert for Jumar’s service and product portfolio.
- Maintain detailed sales and account plans and pragmatically progress sales opportunities, with support from Pre-Sales Director or Sales and Marketing Director
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships at C level, Director level and Management level (Delivery, HR and procurement) – identifying where additional relationship support is required, aligning the client’s structure with Jumar’s (Director to Director, Head of Delivery to Head of Delivery, etc.)
- Understand client’s problem and combine Jumar’s capabilities/LOB’s to create a solution

- Track record of successful sales in a new business role
- A demonstrable ability to grow a pipeline of opportunity, and to translate that pipeline into sales that achieve/exceed target
- Proficient in presenting complex solutions offerings
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- High level of motivation with strong commitment to the achievement of long-term success by providing the highest levels of service to the customer base
