Jumar implements Robotic Process Automation (RPA) utilising UIPath, Automation Anywhere or Blue Prism, to provide organisations with process automation for manual, time-consuming and error prone tasks.  This enables efficiency, compliance and operational cost improvements.
RPA Robotic Process Automation

Jumar has 20+ years’ experience working with some of the world’s largest Financial Services, Insurance and Government organisations. This has included large scale system transformation, development and integration activities, as well as deploying pragmatic solutions to satisfy specific opportunities and challenges. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is one such solution, and leverages Jumar’s;

  • Mature processes, supported by industry standard Agile Development methodology to deliver services on time and in budget
  • Use of industry-leading tools and technologies that are fit for purpose – our RPA capability spans the top 3 RPA technologies in the Gartner magic quadrant (UIPath, Automation Anywhere and Blue Prism).

What is RPA?

Robotic Process Automation is the application of technology that allows for the configuration of a computer software “robot” to capture and interpret existing applications for processing a transaction, manipulating data, triggering responses and communicating with other digital systems.

Why use it?

RPA provides a realistic and cost-effective solution to automate processes that historically have required human intervention, so allowing for both an exchange of information between systems that previously was labour intensive, error prone and expensive, as well as targeting a ‘bot’ to execute the processes within each system as required.

Use cases vary per industry, but typically can include;

  • Integration of new client data from a customer services area into core systems
  • Statement integration for financial services organisations
  • Payroll processing

When would it be used?

Jumar typically assess where maximum business value can be generated from RPA. However, our experience has shown that the most ideal processes have some or all of the following factors in common;

  • Highly manual and repetitive
  • Rules-based
  • A standard process
  • Low exception rate
  • Standard readable electronic input (screen, PDF, excel)
  • Value is seen in removing the human element
  • High-volume

RPA Benefits

  • Reduced operational cost – allowing for staff to focus on higher-value activity
  • Increased operational efficiency – reduced error rate (potentially to near 0% depending on the use case), reduced processing time (up to 80%), reduced manual effort (potentially to 5%)
  • Improved compliance
  • Increased insights and analytics
